Lavender Manor Guest Lodge has a unique character with stunning sea and mountain views, and is ideally positioned close to all major Overberg attractions. It is only a few minutes walk to the main beaches, cliff path and mountain trails and is close to two major golf courses (Hermanus & Arabella) as well as many eco-adventure activities.
At Lavender Manor, you’re two-minutes from famous Grotto Beach and the cliff path, which will lead you along the rocky coast to surprising finds of sandy coves… and on to the centre of Hermanus. In whale season you will see whales and our guest house will be the perfect base for whale watching.
Should you like to venture further or enjoy more of a challenge, ask about the eco-adventure activities which can be either provided or arranged by the hosts (weather permitting)
If golf is your game; we are 5 minutes from the Hermanus golf course and 40 minutes from Arabella Country Estate.
If wine tasting is more your game; there are 7 wineries in the Walker Bay area and we are one hour from Stellenbosch and Franshhoek wine routes.
From your doorstep, a 20 kilometre stretch of beach and an easy mountain walk to Fernkloof Nature Reserve are just a couple of minutes away. Leave your car parked safely on the large grounds of Lavender Manor, and explore the best that nature has to offer.
