Great mountain and beach walks! Popular Fish Hoek beach is 4kms away and features: a kid's playground, restaurant, bistro, calm water and safe bathing (recently voted one of the safest beaches in the world). The temperature of the water here is approximately 5-7 degrees warmer than that off the beaches of the Atlantic Coast (Camps Bay, Hout Bay, etc).
World-renowned attractions, all within 15 minutes drive, include Cape Point Nature Reserve, Boulder's Beach Penguin Colony, Chapman’s Peak Drive and the Constantia Wine Route. Table Mountain National Park is a 400metre walk away.
Whale watching is a favourite pastime in the False Bay area from early August through to mid-October each year. Enjoy whale watching all along the False Bay where these fascinating mammals frolick in the sunshine.
Central Cape Town, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Robben Island and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront are all within a radius of 35 minutes by car. |
